Abstract

Abstract: A new aurone glycoside named licoagroaurone 6- O - α -ʟ-arabinopyranoside (1 ), together with six known compounds (2 –7 ), was isolated from EtOAc-soluble extract of the aerial parts of Saussurea involucrata. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods. All compounds were evaluated for their inhibitory activities against α-glucosidase in vitro . Among them, compounds 1 and 6 showed significant inhibitory activities on α-glucosidase with the IC50 values of 47.1 and 57.7 μM, respectively. Abstract : UF0001
