Abstract

Highligths: Fourier transform spectrum with high absorption path length. Missing Q -branch of ν1 +ν3 +3ν4 band of 12 C2 H2 in databases. Line list for databases. Abstract: The Q -branch of the ν1 +ν3 +3ν4 cold band of 12 C2 H2 located at 8330 cm −1 has been observed under one kilometer absorption path length. The analysis leads to a line list for this isolated and strong Q -branch that is missing from spectroscopic databases. This work completes the large update of acetylene data in the Δ P = 13 spectral region (8200 and 8900 cm −1 ) made in spectroscopic databases (HITRAN and GEISA) in 2020 edition.
