- Abstract: In this study, an experim-ent is carried out to examine the engine performance of a blend of lemongrass and canola oil with neat diesel, as well as to compare the performance and emissions values of the biodiesel with diesel. TiO2 and AlO2 nano additives are combined with biodiesel to improve combustion through a catalytic effect and to shorten the ignition delay. It results in lower pollutant emissions, such as carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides, as well as a significant increase in performance parameters such as BTE and SFC.
