- Abstract : The cover feature image shows that zinc guanidine complexes act with the yin‐yang principle for bioplastics: they are able to promote the controlled ring‐opening polymerisation of lactide to polylactide under industrial conditions but also the recycling of polylactide into lactates which go back into the value chain. Hence, corn as principal source for lactide can be saved since the waste PLA serves as resource which allows multiple cycling of the valuable renewable resources. The cover was designed by Martin Fuchs. More information can be found in the Research Article by Sonja Herres‐Pawlis and co‐workers .
