- Abstract : Wireless sensor network sensing data is meaningless without any location information, and a large number of anchor node-based localization methods have been proposed to obtain the location information of nodes. However, this kind of method requires a certain number of anchor nodes deployed in the network and complex information interaction between nodes. Therefore, it is not ideal in positioning cost and effect. A WSN positioning method based on the steering antenna of the base station is proposed to address this problem. By rotating the orientation information of the antenna, accurate positioning can be achieved without the assistance of anchor nodes, and no signal interaction between nodes is required. Theoretically, the method is easier to be deployed in the actual scene to realize the positioning of sensor nodes. Experimental results show that the proposed method is better than most positioning methods assisted by anchor node in positioning accuracy, positioning time, and energy consumption.
