- Highlights: 1. We were confused with some data of study. 2. Doxorubicin could significantly retard the growth of liver cancer in vitro or in vivo compared with control group (Fig. 4A, C, 4E, 6A, 6B, 6C). Nevertheless, Fig. 6E and F showed that cancer stem-like markers (Notch2, Sox2) in doxorubicin group were higher than that in control group. 3. The expression of Notch2 was decreased and there was no change in Sox2 expression in doxorubicin group compared with control group (Fig. 7A). This was inconsistent with Fig. 6E.
