- Abstract: A 3D printing process involves printing a 3D object repeatedly by sequencing many thin layered of metals in succession. This is a process that produces a 3D model of a finished product. 3D printing allows engineers to create functional prototypes using their 3D models. In this study, the primary materials used are PLA and Alloy Steel. The model of a bolt are then created using 3D printer. Snapmaker software is used for the slicing and printing of the model. The model is then analyzed for shear stress and deformation.
