- Abstract : The electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (CO2 RR) activity of Ni2 MnIn and Ni2 MnSn Heusler alloys was investigated. This is the first report that shows the CO2 RR activity of Heusler alloy particles. Abstract : The electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (CO2 RR) activity of Ni2 MnIn and Ni2 MnSn Heusler alloys was investigated. Although pure In, Sn and Ni2 MnIn generated formate as the major product, Ni2 MnSn generated H2 as the major product. The CO2 RR selectivity could be controlled by selecting the constituent elements of the intermetallic catalysts.
