- Abstract : Electric‐field modulation of magnetism is a prerequisite for efficient and low‐power spintronic devices. In this work, it is demonstrated that the charge–spin conversion efficiency, ξ, is continuously controllable and can be magnified by applying a large electric field. It is further found that ξ is related to the piezostrain, which has a butterfly‐like variation with the electric field E . The butterfly‐like behavior of ξ can be explained by the fact that the spin current density can be tuned by piezostrain. The possibility of modulating spin–orbit torques at room temperature opens a route to integrating electric‐field‐induced piezostrain and current‐induced magnetization switching for next‐generation spintronic devices.
