- Abstract: Triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG)-based dynamics sensors usually suffer from low output and nonlinear response (inconsistent sensitivity) in wider detection range, especially at curved state. Here, we investigated the influence of piezoelectric potential and dipole moment on electrical output of TENG by fabricating four modes of TENGs with different polarized PVDF and working modes. Moreover, piezoelectric potential can be utilized to tune the interfacial energy band structure by piezotronic effect, which significantly improves the sensing performance of TENG-based pressure sensor, achieving linear response and high sensitivity in a wider range. In application, such sensor is good at human-body monitoring, such as acoustic wave, pulse wave and respiratory wave. TENG based on polarized materials in curved-contact state has high sensing ability than in vertical-contact state. Piezotronic effect can be utilized to tune the interfacial energy band structure, improveing the sensing performance. In application, such sensor is good at human-body monitoring in which they are installed on curved skin surface.
