- Abstract : A naphthalene‐embedded conjugated nanobelt is an excellent design for achieving the synthesis of cyclophenacene‐type and chiral‐type carbon nanobelts. A cationic rhodium complex catalyst is a powerful tool for the (asymmetric) synthesis of these analogues, as reported by Ken Tanaka and co‐workers in their Research Article (e202200800) . In the picture, the three blue belts in the foreground and the rhodium complex in the back represent the cyclophenylene‐naphthylene belts and the key catalyst, respectively.
