- Abstract : Angiogenesis In article number 2102095 by Jinkee Hong and co‐workers, a nanocoating, co‐localizing nitric oxide and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), is successfully formed on a surface of endothelial cells, harnessing biocompatible polymers via a layer‐by‐layer assembly technique. The nanocoating efficiently delivers labile nitric oxide to cells and induces a synergistic effect with VEGF to naturally enhance angiogenesis signals and subsequent vascularization, which can be utilized for stem cell transplantation for vascular regeneration.
