Abstract

Abstract : The real-space experimental evidence of the interconversion between G-quartets and G-triads on the Au(111) surface. Abstract : Based on STM imaging and DFT calculations, we show the real-space experimental evidence of the interconversion between G-quartets and G-triads on the Au(111) surface, and further reveal the relative stabilities of these two elementary motifs, which helps to increase the fundamental understanding of the relationship between G-triplex and G-quadruplex DNA structures.
