- Abstract : Obstet Gynecol Surv 2016;71(2):69–70 Congenital heart defects (CHDs) are the most common anomaly in infants and are a major cause of infant morbidity and mortality despite advances in medical care. The origins of CHDs therefore need to be better studied for prevention and earlier detection.
