Abstract

Abstract: A type of anti-/deicing material of graphene oxide (GO) reinforced modified shape memory epoxy resin (EP) composite was prepared. The thermal and anti-/deicing performance of the shape memory GO/EP composite was analyzed by experiments to employing on the anti-icing and deicing filed. In this study, GO was introduced to improve the heat transfer characteristics and mechanical recovery characteristics of shape memory EP, which comprehensively enhance the shape memory properties. The experimental results show that GO is uniformly dispersed in the shape memory EP to form heat conduction network channels, which significantly improves the heat transfer rate and shape recovery rate of the shape memory GO/EP composites. Furthermore, the content of GO directly affects the anti-/deicing efficiency. When the content of GO is 1 wt%, the anti-icing efficiency of the shape memory GO/EP composite was the highest, which is 49.90% higher than that of the undoped GO sample. Under the same doping content, the deicing efficiency of shape memory GO/EP composite is 66.91% higher than that of GO/EP composite without shape memory function. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the experiments, and puts forward the improvement direction of the follow-up research, which has reference significance for the research in related fields.
