- Abstract : Catalyst particles in full color : By combining multiple characterization techniques per single Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) particle, this work provides insights in the heterogeneity of this industrially used catalyst. Furthermore, by measuring multiple catalyst particles statistical value is added to the data obtained. The influence of metal poisons on the acidity and accessibility of an FCC catalyst was screened using lab‐based single particle characterization, namely, μ‐XRF and fluorescence microscopy in combination with selected probe molecules.
