- Highlights: Two Different types of Aggregates – Limestone and Granite. Polymer Modified Bitumen. ITS and TSR. Abstract: Under the impact of extreme climatic conditions and overwhelming vehicles activity, untimely and irreversible harms happen on the conventional bituminous materials. To manage this circumstance, a standout amongst the most productive way is to include polymer in it. In the present study, Ethylene Ter-Polymer (ETP) and Poly Phosphoric Acid (PPA) as catalyst has been used to modify VG30. The proportion of ETP and PPA were kept constant i.e. 1.3% and 0.1% respectively. However, Two different aggregates i.e. limestone and Granite were used for this study to gauge the difference in stability value. The investigation progress with the physical characterization of materials used and then followed with the mechanical testing of the samples prepared. The results of Marshall Stability, Indirect Tensile Strength and TSR have evident Limestone aggregate has shown maximum stability and maximum tensile strength as compared to granite aggregate.
