- Abstract : Bioengineered protein‐based adhesives with robust adhesion behaviours have been designed by genetic engineering. Elastin‐like polypeptides, mussel‐foot proteins, and spider silk spidroin are employed to fabricate the bioengineered protein‐based adhesives.
