Abstract

Abstract : The crystal structure of the cytochrome P450 AryC from arylomycin biosynthesis is shown surrounded by other decisive elements of AryC biocatalysis—such as the electron supply chain (bottom right) and molecular oxygen (center top)—and indicates the catalytic function of AryC on free linear peptide precursors without PCP tethering to regioselectively perform biaryl cross‐coupling (top right; blue bond).
