Abstract : South Asians are more susceptible to diabetes and cardiovascular diseases and have worse outcomes than other ethnicities, say Anoop Misra, Tazeen Jafar, and colleagues . They call for urgent action to provide screening and treatment, complemented by population level lifestyle modifications.
