- Abstract: In order to investigate the quantitative response of yield, fruit quality and economic return of table grapes grown in greenhouses under deficit irrigation applied at various growth stages, experiments were conducted in 2017 and 2018. Three irrigation levels (full irrigation, 2/3 and 1/3‐full irrigation) were applied at the fruit setting–swelling (stage 2), veraison (stage 4) and whole growth stages. The comprehensive fruit quality index ( Q c ) was determined in order to evaluate the overall quality of the berries and its effect on economic return. The results showed that deficit irrigation significantly decreased evapotranspiration (ET) and yield, and improved water use efficiency (WUE), individual quality parameters and Q c . Fruit quality was more sensitive to water deficit at stage 4 than at stage 2. Significant linear functions were found between a relative decrease in yield, berry quality parameters, Q c and a relative seasonal ET deficit. Net income under deficit irrigation was related to the price proportional coefficient ( R ). Higher net income was mainly determined by a higher yield when R was less than 1, while higher net income was determined by a higher Q c when R was greater than 3. An appropriate water deficit level at stages 2 and 4 (F2/3 V2/3 ) is recommended as an optimal treatment as it produces a higher Q c, the highest WUE and net income without a significant decrease in yield. Résumé: Pour étudier les réponses quantitatives du rendement, de la qualité des fruits et du rendement économique des raisins de table cultivés en serres à l'irrigation déficitaire appliquée à différents stades de croissance, des expériences ont été menées en 2017 et 2018.Trois niveaux d'irrigation (irrigation complète, 2/3 et 1/3) ont été appliqués à la culture des fruits: l'enflure (stade 2), la véraison (stade 4) et la croissance complète. L'indice global de la qualité des fruits ( Q c ) a été déterminé pour évaluer la qualité globale des baies et son effet sur le rendement économique. Les résultats ont montré que l'irrigation déficitaire diminuait significativement l'évapotranspiration (ET) et le rendement, qu'elle améliorait l'efficacité de l'utilisation de l'eau (WUE), les paramètres de qualité individuels et le Q c . La qualité des fruits s'est révélée plus sensible au déficit d'eau à l'étape 4 qu'à l'étape 2. Des fonctions linéaires significatives ont été trouvées entre la diminution relative du rendement, les paramètres de qualité des baies, le Q c et le déficit saisonnier relatif ET. Le revenu net résultant de l'irrigation déficitaire a été mis en relation avec le coefficient de relation au prix ( R ). Un revenu net plus élevé était principalement déterminé par un rendement plus élevé lorsque R était inférieur à 1, tandis qu'un revenu net plus élevé était déterminé par un Q c plus élevé lorsque R était supérieur à 3. Un niveau approprié de déficit d'eau aux stades 2 et 4 (F2/3 V2/3 ) peut être recommandé comme traitement optimal parce qu'il a produit un Q c plus élevé, la valeur WUE la plus élevée et le revenu net sans diminution significative du rendement. … (more)
