Abstract

Abstract : State-led and -sponsored cyber attacks have quickly become an issue too significant to ignore, threatening to undermine public trust and confidence in our shared cyberspace. A recent survey commissioned by the Cybersecurity Tech Accord and conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) reveals just how concerning nation-state attacks have become to private industry. While companies must continue to invest in cyber security defences, the research makes clear that an increasing number of organisations see government action, domestically and internationally, as essential for addressing escalating threats.
