- Abstract:
- Abstract : The rapid growth of online shopping is allowing businesses to generate revenue from the world of e-commerce. This sector is increasing its share of retail sales – e-commerce accounted for 7.4% of global retail sales in 2015, and by 2020 this had grown to 18%. Furthermore, projections suggest that this could increase to 21.8% by 2024. The trajectory of e-commerce highlights its significance and the need for businesses to innovate and prioritise online operations to improve shopping experiences and revenue.
