Abstract

Abstract : The Cover Feature shows a tin oxide photocatalyst with strong visible light catalytic performance. By controlling the ratio of Sn 4+ to Sn 2+, SnO2−x nanocrystals with controllable oxygen vacancies were synthesized. Due to the presence of in‐plane oxygen defects, the valence band moves up and the band gap can be narrowed, which result in the high visible light harvesting and the excellent photocatalytic activity. The result indicates that the photocatalytic performance of SnO2−x nanocrystals can be tuned by controlling the oxygen vacancy. More information can be found in the Full Paper by H.
