Abstract

Abstract : Biodegradable Implantable Sensors The development of biodegradable implantable sensors enables real‐time and continuous monitoring of various parameters, and obviates the need for sensor removal. Despite encouraging results illustrating that biodegradable sensors can be as accurate and reliable as commercially available nondegradable ones, biodegradable implantable sensors are still in their infancy. In article number 2104149, Nureddin Ashammakhi and co‐workers review significant advances made in this area and highlight future prospects.
