Abstract

Abstract: This article presents a case study motivated by a plot of data that suggested an emerging trend that the authors were faced with explaining. When the measurement error of the data is accounted for, it turns out there was no real trend. This article shows how to use a Bayesian modeling approach to account for the measurement error.
