Abstract

Abstract : In pregnancy, strict adherence to recommended therapy and dosing intervals are imperative to prevent congenital syphilis. Our case report highlights challenges that must be addressed. Abstract: A case of congenital syphilis due to multiple missed opportunities, highlights the challenges of treating syphilis during pregnancy. Although cases are increasing in the United States, congenital syphilis, a disease with devastating consequences, is preventable.
