Abstract

Highlights: Bacteriophage therapy can be an attractive approach in the fight against MDR infections. The combined antibiotic-phage therapy in addition to surgery leaded to eradication of the chronic LVAD infection. Intravenous bacteriophage therapy was well tolerated without significant side effects.
