- Abstract : In article number 2100141, Catalán‐Gómez, Vázquez and co‐workers perform the modulation of the mechanical properties of the core‐shell structure of gallium nanoparticles by thermal oxidation processes. The study is carried out by single‐particle indentations by atomic force microscopy over a wide range of nanoparticle radius. It is found that the shell stiffness increases up to 50 times while the Young's modulus does not change significantly.
