- Abstract : The Cover Feature displays a new strategy to reduce CO2 into CO with high activity and selectivity using various photocatalysts. In their Communication, X. Xu et al. find that Zn(OH)2 is an effective and economical cocatalyst for the photocatalytic conversion of CO2 by H2 O. An alkaline electrical double layer surrounding the photocatalyst and the dissolved zinc ions in the solution are two critical factors for the function of Zn(OH)2 . Zn(OH)2 cocatalyst shows universal performances on various photocatalysts like Ta‐ and Ga‐based semiconductors. More information can be found in the Communication by X. Xu et al .
