- Abstract : Novel bimetallic Ti IV amine bis(phenolate) complexes were employed as photosensitisers, generating singlet oxygen following irradiation with visible light (420 nm) in a commercial flow reactor. These air‐ and moisture‐stable complexes have the potential to be developed into tuneable alternatives to ubiquitous TiO2 photosensitisers. While maintaining the 'TiO2 ‐like' core, ligand design was applied to produce highly soluble species that can be exploited in homogeneous, photocatalytic reactions.
