Abstract

Abstract : The heavy‐atom tunneling in the Cope rearrangement of selectively deuterated semibullvalenes was extensively studied. The experimental results from matrix isolation IR spectroscopy were complemented by SCT calculations, providing insights into the impact of different barrier shapes, driving forces and cryosolvents on tunneling processes.
