Abstract

Abstract : Chiral Microparticles Supermolecular structures as solid, chiral and flower‐like microparticles are obtained from monosaccharide stearoyl esters with variable molecular configurations of sugar rings. Chiral 'left‐handed' (counterclockwise) and 'right‐handed' (clockwise) morphologies are induced by d ‐ and l ‐glucose stearoyl esters. Galactose and mannose stearoyl esters can form flower‐like microparticles, while xylose stearoyl esters can only form solid microparticles.
