- Abstract: The Li + concentration of the Li7 La3 Zr2 O12 solid electrolyte is regarded as a significant factor impacting the Li + conductivity. In this research, a conventional solid-state method has been used to synthesize Ga-doped LLZO (Li6.4 Ga0.2 La3 Zr2 O12 ) with different Li + concentrations by adjusting the heating rate. The focal point of this research is the influence of the heating rate on the Li + concentration and the effect of the Li + concentration on the Li + conductivity. The results show that the lithium loss primarily decreases and then increases with the rise of the heating rate. Hence, the Li + concentration rises initially and drops afterwards. When the sample is sintered at 1200 °C for 18 h at a heating rate of 10 °C min −1, the amount of Li + is 6.55 moles. The sample exhibits a maximum Li + conductivity of 1.09 × 10 −3 S·cm −1 at room temperature.
