Abstract

Abstract: Ba4 USe6 (I), Ba3 FeUSe6 (II), Ba3 MnUSe6 (III), Ba3 MnUS6 (IV), Ba3.3 Rb0.7 US6 (V), and Ba3.2 K0.8 US6 (VI) are prepared by solid state reaction of stoichiometric amounts of the elements and CsCl, RbCl, and KCl acting as a flux (C‐coated evacuated silica tubes, 1173 K, 4 d; cooling to 673 K at a rate of 2.5 K/h).
