Abstract

Abstract : Front Cover: Macroscopic pH‐responsive self‐assemblies are realized based on molecular recognition of cyclodextrins. Polyacrylamide gels are modified with dansyl and β‐cyclodextrin residues to form the guest and host gels (Dns‐gel and βCD‐gel, respectively). Dns‐gel and bCD‐gel assemble together at pH ≥ 4.0, but disassemble at pH ≤ 3.0. Further details can be found in the article by Y. Zheng, A. Hashidzume, and A. Harada* on page 1062 .
