- Abstract : Surface deactivated (only pore‐active) core–shell‐type MOF (metal–organic framework) catalysts for aerobic oxidation of alcohols were synthesized via a simple postsynthetic ligand exchange (PSE) method. They contain TEMPO groups on the ligand as active sites at the core. The highly porous but catalytically inactive shell ensured the substrate size‐selective permeability by sieving effects and induced all reactions to take place in the pore of the catalytically active core.
