Abstract

Abstract : A 32-year-old woman with bipolar patellofemoral chondral lesions caused by traumatic patella dislocation underwent autologous chondrocyte implantation with concomitant tibial tubercle osteotomy and MPFL reconstruction. At 1- and 2-year follow-ups, the patient had returned to all previous activities with considerable improvement in all patient-reported outcome scores. This is an encouraging treatment option for a historically difficult therapeutic problem.
