Abstract

Abstract : The highly flammable and volatile organic liquid electrolytes in commercial LIBs (green battery) suffers from serious thermal problems. Substituting liquid electrolytes with solid‐state electrolyte (SE) is a promising solution. This review summarizes thermal stability of all solid‐state battery from the aspects of SE materials, SE‐electrode interface and battery device. The five balls represent different SE materials, including polymer, oxide, sulfide, halide and hydride. The clapboard above the five balls represents the interface between SE and electrode. Above the clapboard, thermal stability of battery device (blue battery) still needs to be explored in the future.
