Abstract

Abstract : Naphtha was separated by using a easily attainable metal–organic framework, Co3 (HCOO)6, through selective molecular exclusion of alkane isomers with different degrees of branching. The separation capability of the compound was evaluated by using naphtha mixtures with 180+ hydrocarbon components. Co3 (HCOO)6 exhibited efficient separation of the mixture and thus yielded products with high octane ratings and high dynamic capacity. More information can be found in the Communication by H.
