Abstract : Abstract: Prompt recognition of laparoscopic surgical complications is vital. We present a case highlighting the dangers of relying on plain radiography for exclusion of bowel herniation through a port site. Early recourse to cross-sectional imaging is recommended to avoid such pitfalls.
