- Abstract: Natural ventilation plays an important role for reducing the building power consumption and cooling load in the building as well, and also improves the indoor air quality. Natural ventilation study needs fundamental knowledge of heat transfer and air flow in and around the building. The prediction of air flow rate through the building is an important factor in wind driven natural ventilation. Therefore, in this paper, comparison has also made for different ventilation methods and simulation tools for air flow measurement through the ventilation space and the effect of opening configuration on ventilation.
