- Abstract : Bioinspired Superhydrophobic Surface A novel bioinspired surface with tilt wedge‐shaped structures is fabricated on the aluminum substrate by nanosecond laser ablation inside water, as presented in article number 2100555 by Xuyan Hou, Minghui Hong, and co‐workers. The theoretical model is established to explain the anisotropic phenomenon on the bioinspired surface. The bouncing and rolling movements of water droplets on the surface are simulated and tested to explain the anisotropic phenomena on the wedge‐shaped structures at different tilt angles.
