- Abstract : This study presents a techno‐economic assessment of a process involving conversion of H2 S into hydrogen (a valuable clean fuel) and sulfur. A typical sour gas stream in the oil and gas industry was sweetened by scrubbing with aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide, and the dissolved H2 S gas was converted using a TiO2 slurry photocatalytic reactor.
