- Abstract : Amyloid Aggregation In article number 2102978, Jie Zheng and co‐workers provide a new "kill two birds with one stone" model to not only reconcile with both the "amyloid cascade hypothesis" and "microbial infection hypothesis", but also reveal the functional and structural correlations between antimicrobial peptides and amyloid proteins with their built‐in bacterial killing and amyloid inhibition functions.
