Abstract

Abstract : A case is reported of a patient who presented with symptomatic hypoglycaemia and who had three pancreatic tumours resected over the ensuing eight years. Immunocytochemistry demonstrated two of these to be insulinomas and the third to be a glucagonoma. In addition metastatic spread of cells positive for glucagon had occurred to a lymph node and multiple nodules staining positively for glucagon were present in the remainder of the pancreas.
