Abstract

Abstract : Abstract submission of a clinical case report of a 17 year old black female with no significant past medical history presenting with fever and malaise to outside hospital and found to be pancytopenic and transferred to a university hospital secondary to difficulty to type and match the patient for blood. She was subsequently diagnosed with autoimmune hemolytic anemia and juvenile pernicious anemia. I plan to do a poster presentation of the case report with the patient's history and physical examination and laboratory work and treatment results, followed by a discussion of pernicious anemia.
