- Abstract : We describe a case of a 42-year-old man who presented with anginal chest pain. He had objective evidence of ongoing cardiac injury. After initial treatment for coronary arterial disease, cardiac catheterisation revealed diffuse coronary arterial thrombosis with embolisation. Follow-up testing implicated new-onset antiphospholipid antibody syndrome as the aetiology.
