- Abstract : Coupling chemical reactions and transport processes is a way to exploit the potential of various spatial gradients. In this work, a magnetic field was applied as a noninvasive driving force to influence the growth of chemical gardens yielded upon injection. The obtained 3D membranes were characterized as a function of injection rate and magnetic induction. It was also shown that the microstructure of the membrane interior can be tuned with the magnetic field. More information can be found in the Full Paper by Á. Tóth et al. on page 14826 .
