- Abstract : Neuroendocrine tumours are characterised by the expression of high affinity binding sites for somatostatin. The detection of bronchial carcinoid tumours through scintigraphic imaging is described in two patients using the novel radiolabelled somatostatin analogue indium-111 pentetreotide.
